FX Instruments

Pricing & Trading begin each Monday at 05:05 GMT + 8.
Pricing & Trading end each Saturday at 04:55 GMT + 8
There is a daily system reset from 04:55 until 05:05 GMT + 8 during which pricing and trading is not available.

Spot Metals

Metals instruments (gold, silver) quotes and trading functionality are active from 06:05:00 GMT + 8 on Monday until 04:55 GMT + 8 on Saturday.
Metals exchanges close daily from 04:55 until 06:05 GMT + 8, during which quotes and trading are unavailable.


XTI (WTI) & XNG (Natural Gas): Trading starts at 06:05 GMT + 8 on Monday and is active until 04:55 GMT + 8 on Saturday. There is a daily break in pricing between 04:55 until 06:05 GMT + 8.
XBR (Brent Crude Oil): Trading starts at 08:00 GMT + 8 on Monday and is active until 04:55 GMT + 8 on Saturday. There is a daily break in pricing between 04:55 until 08:00 GMT + 8.

New York and London: between 8:00 am — 12:00 noon EST (EDT)

London and Tokyo: between 3:00 am — 4:00am EST (EDT)

Naturally, these are the busiest times during the trading day because there is more volume when two markets are open at the same time.

This makes sense because, during those times, all the market participants are wheelin’ and dealin’, which means that more money is transferring hands.
